Duyun Maojian Green Tea
Duyun is a city located in the south of mountainous Guizhou province.Maojian means hairy buds as the tea buds are covered with tiny white hairs. Duyun Maojian is one of the top 10 famous Chinese teas. Guizhou province is located on Yunnan-Guizhou plateau in southwest China. Now Guizhou owns the largest tea growing area among all China’s provinces."High altitude, low latitude, long time of clouds and mists, short time of sunshine" form Guizhou perfect natural environment for tea growth.It is generally accepted that southwest China is the birthplace of tea. Duyun Maojian is also called "fishhook tea" because the dry leaves are curled like fishhook.There are lots of tiny hairs suspending in the tea liquid when brewing.That brings you special delicate flavor because the hairs contain high content of amino acid.
