ZunYi Black Tea
Zunyi is a city, located in the northern part of Guizhou province. Tea Saint Lu Yu (733–804AD) said in his book “The Classic of Tea ” that Bozhou tea tastes excellent. Bozhou is now Zunyi city. The cultivation of tea in Zunyi region dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618–907AD), making it one of the oldest tea-producing areas in China. Zunyi city, with an altitude of 800–1300m, is characterized by a humid subtropical climate. The soil in this region is rich in nutrients and minerals, which contribute to the unique flavor profile of Zunyi black tea. Zunyi black tea is produced with traditional methods. The dried leaves are long and slender, with some golden hairs . It tastes sweet, mellow with hints of fruit .
